The purpose of the º£½ÇÂÛ̳ District Plan for English Learners is to provide clear guidance to District staff regarding full implementation of programs and services for all English Learners.  It reflects the Federal, State, and District goals and objectives for English Learners as well as the most recent policy passed by the State Board of Education in the English Learner Roadmap: Strengthening Comprehensive Policies, Programs and Practices for English Learners (CA EL Roadmap). 

The English Learner Plan is a guide to assist all schools in providing every identified English Learner an instructional program which includes daily-differentiated English Language Development, integrated ELD and access to the core curriculum.

Thank you to the nearly 80 participants that joined us in reviewing our English Learner Plan during the 2021 and 2022 school years.
